SINA S.p.A., according to the guidelines of the ASTM Group, promotes a culture of legality according to a zero-tolerance attitude towards any behavior that does not comply with the ethical principles adopted by the company and does not observe the rules and regulations in force.
To this end, the Company has implemented a system for the management of voluntary reports (commonly referred to as “whistleblowing”) which stipulates the use of a platform in order to ensure maximum protection and confidentiality of both the reporting persons and the party concerned by the reports.
This digital platform enables all stakeholders of SINA S.p.A. (i.e. employees, collaborators, suppliers and any other individual who has had or intends to have relations with the Company) to report, even anonymously, alleged or known violations of regulations, laws, procedures and company policies or of the values of the Code of Ethics of the Company.
The platform, managed by a specialized and independent third party, is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, compliant with the ISO 27001:2017 and ISO 37001:2016 standards, and also complies with the legislation on whistleblowing (Law no. 179 of November 30, 2017), which requires companies to equip themselves with a channel for the collection of reports relating to behaviors that constitute crimes or violations of the Organization, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001.
All reports are sent to the Head of Internal Audit (or to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board if the Head of Internal Audit is the subject of the report) and are handled confidentially and transparently through a predefined process. The Company guarantees the confidentiality of the reporting party and the information conveyed, in order to protect the reporting party from any form of retaliation or discrimination. The identity of the reporter, if disclosed by the reporter, will not be disclosed without the reporter’s consent.
In addition to the platform, which is the preferred reporting channel, it is possible to send a report by mail, confidentially and personally, addressed to the Head of the Internal Audit Function at the following address:
