“Improvement opportunities and perspectives for road safety in south-eastern Europe”
ROADPOL, PIARC Italia and SINA are organising a seminar with national, European and Balkan state authorities to improve the opportunities and prospects for road safety in south-eastern Europe.
ROADPOL, the European Roads Policing Network, and PIARC Italia, the Italian National Committee of the World Road Association, are aiming to consolidate and increase knowledge among the road traffic police forces and highways operators in south-eastern Europe.
Through the “National Road Safety Policies and Programmes” Technical Committee 3.1-A steered by Roberto Arditi (Head of Road Safety at SINA SpA–ASTM Group), PIARC has organised a seminar entitled “Improvement opportunities and perspectives for road safety in south-eastern Europe”. The event will be held online in English on 21 June from 08:30 to 13:30.
The event is aimed at road traffic police and major highways infrastructure authorities and experts who will aim to identify critical issues and possible common solutions in order to increase road safety in Europe.
Participation in the seminar will earn three training credits granted by the Order of Engineers of the Province of Rome for those enrolled in all national orders of engineers, architects and surveyors.
